Mr. Dishongh joined Wojciechowski & Associates, P.C. in November, 2004 after many years of a broad-based civil litigation practice with other firms. He has handled a variety of civil matters providing him insight into many "cross-over" matters effecting every client's legal needs.

Mr. Dishongh obtained his first degree from Houston Baptist University in 1990, graduating cum laude. He then attended the University of Houston Law Center where he obtained his Juris Doctorate degree in 1993. While at the University of Houston, Mr. Dishongh was active and excelled in numerous court competitions and advocacy programs beginning in his first year of law school. After his first year, he began clerking full time at one of Houston's oldest civil litigation firms and remained there throughout the duration of law school.

Mr. Dishongh initially worked as a general litigation attorney with a solo practitioner after obtaining his license in November, 1993. Work at that firm primarily focused on representation of clients involved in personal injury litigation. Mr. Dishongh went on to practice family law, corporate representation, criminal litigation, civil rights law, and construction litigation for the next six years. During this time he acquired first chair trial experience, including a jury trial against an attorney that would later offer him a job. He then practiced insurance defense and commercial litigation with another Houston firm for three years. He left that law firm to join Wojciechowski & Associates, P.C. where he has obtained significant experience handling insurance defense litigation with an emphasis on construction claims.

Mr. Dishongh has tried many cases in state courts throughout Texas. Mr. Dishongh has tried through verdict numerous cases ranging from simple breach of contract and two-party negligence cases to complex construction and multi party cases. In addition to this trial experience, Mr. Dishongh has handled appeals in Houston's First Court of Appeals, Fourteenth Court of Appeals, the Beaumont Court of Appeals, the Corpus Christi Court of Appeals, and the Texas Supreme Court. He has also handled matters through the federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans, Louisiana and in the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Dishongh is a member of the Houston Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern, and Eastern Districts of Texas. Applications are pending in the Western District of Texas and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has also been given pro hac vice status in Louisiana Federal District Court.

Mr. Dishongh's practice involves construction litigation, professional liability defense, insurance defense litigation, performing insurance coverage analysis, and handling commercial litigation matters. He is also the counsel with the firm that handles construction liens, family law and probate litigation matters.
